Concorde British Airways model kit 1: 144 - a spectacular aircraft model

The Concorde British Airways model kit on a scale of 1: 144 is an impressive aircraft model for everyone who is interested in the history of aviation. The kit consists of 67 parts and has a length of 433 mm and a span of 175 mm. It is recommended for model builders from the age of 10.

Concorde is one of the most spectacular aircraft developments in recent years and has been manufactured in collaboration by British Aircraft Corporation and aerospatials. The overs sound airliner had his first flight on March 2, 1969 and was started in scheduled flight operations from the beginning of 1976 (transatlantic and Middle East flight traffic). The Concorde is equipped with four Olympus 593 engines (17,000 kp thrust each) and reaches a maximum travel speed of MACH 2.04. The maximum range is 6,580 km and the passenger capacity is between 128-144 people.

The model kit is equipped with optionally built bowling in two positions, two engine gondolas and a chassis that can also be built in two positions. There are two decal versions of British Airways that have the model designed individually.

Background information:

The Concorde was the first overs sound passenger plane and was produced from 1969 to 2003. It was operated by British Airways and Air France and flew mainly on the routes between Europe and North America. A total of only 20 copies were built, 14 of which were deployed. The Concorde was taken out due to economic and safety reasons.
