Tamiya 61102 F-16C (Block 32/52) - "Thunderbirds" 1/48
In 1953, the Thunderbirds were formed as an Air Demonstration Squadron. From 1984 the F-16A was used, but in 1992 they had changed to the F-16C model. Every year from March through to November, the Thunderbirds perform about 40 times at various air shows throughout the world and America. Through these aerobatic performances, the Thunderbirds do the publicity work of the American Air Force, promoting international friendship. In November 2007, it was decided to put the new Block 52 F-16 into use as of 2009, instead of the Block 32 F-16.
